Summer Ski & Snowboard Endless Snow Days
Timberline is home to the world’s most energetic summer snow scene. From Olympic athletes and rising racers to freestyle fans, everyone comes to Palmer Snowfield from June through August. While many camps reserve terrain, Timberline always keeps areas open for the public, giving intermediate and advanced skiers and riders the chance to carve unforgettable summertime turns on Mt. Hood’s South slopes.

Only at Timberline
Palmer Snowfield is the heart of Timberline’s summer scene. Built for summer skiing and snowboarding, the Palmer Lift serves camps, racers, and freestyle riders from around the world. Under sunny skies, it’s the only lift-accessed summer snow experience of its kind in North America.

Your Ticket to Ride
Summer lift tickets and season passes at Timberline include access to Palmer Snowfield and the public parks, letting riders enjoy summer slopes and session features. The Freestyle Training Center requires a separate daily ticket for focused park and jump progression.

Snow Much Fun
Timberline Summer Snow Camps are Mt. Hood’s official race and freestyle camps. With slope-side lodging, low coach-to-camper ratios, year-round pros, and fun activities, we focus on fundamentals, progression, and stoke—perfect for beginners to advanced riders prepping for next season.

Elite Progression
The FTC offers summer access to carefully designed parks, elite training for athletes and teams, and unforgettable camp experiences. Open to the public as well, it features jumps, rails, jibs, a 30’x60’ airbag, and lift and tow access.

Summer Freestyle
With a regular day ticket or season pass, riders can lap Mile Canyon Park in June with a halfpipe, jumps, rails, and jibs. By July, the public park shifts to Palmer, where Lap Park serves up a flowy mix of jumps, hips, and rails—keeping summer freestyle alive until the snowpack fades.

Race Training
Timberline offers exclusive lane reservations on the Palmer Snowfield for summer race training. Coaches can book private lanes for their teams, ensuring optimal conditions with quick lift access and expertly groomed surfaces. This setup provides a focused environment for skill development.
