Be Prepared

Be Ready for Adventure

Dress warm in snow boots and layers you can remove as you warm up, and don’t forget a hat, gloves, and goggles. Bring water and snacks in a small backpack. Wear your own snowshoes or rent them at Timberline for $27. If you’re missing any gear, stop in at the Wy'East Store.

Our groomed snowshoe trail is closed for the season. When open, the snowshoe trail climbs ¾ mile through beautiful winter terrain, with snowcat-packed paths ready for adventure. Perfect for a fun, crisp trek through the snow, every step brings fresh views and a taste of high-alpine adventure.
