4,540' Vertical The Longest Vertical in the U.S.
From the top of Palmer to Government Camp, experience Timberline’s unmatched 4,540′ vertical—the longest in the U.S.! Start high on Mt. Hood’s alpine slopes, ride through wide-open terrain, and descend into forested trails that wind all the way to Summit Pass in Govy. This epic, nonstop run is unlike anything else in North America, offering skiers and riders the rare chance to enjoy continuous terrain from summit to town.

EXPERIENCE THE LONGEST VERTICAL IN THE U.S.
There are many different experiences down the 4,540'. Above tree line, take in the wide-open views of the Mt. Hood summit and Cascades to the south while skiing down the unique Palmer snowfield snow. At mid-mountain tree line, enter the alpine forest with Kruser's wide runs or Spraypaint and Paintbrush. The Alpine Trail is quiet and sheltered with old growth timber. Finish the 4,540' at Timberline's Summit Pass and reward yourself with a beer and a burger.
