The Mt. Hood Brewing Co. opened in January 1991 in the alpine village of Government Camp, Oregon, serving locally-produced beers and hearty pub fare in a family-friendly atmosphere. It is owned by R.L.K. and Company and is a sister company to Timberline Lodge. Pure, clean, glacial Mt. Hood water sets Mt. Hood Brewing Co. beers apart from other Oregon ales. Our distinctive ales are produced by the union of that special glacial water, Pacific Northwest barley and hops, and the inspiration of the Mt. Hood Brewing Co.’s brewers.

Mt. Hood Brewing Co. beers can be enjoyed at our brewpub in Government Camp and throughout Timberline Lodge. With the additions of Mt. Hood Brewing Co. Tilikum Station (Portland) in 2018 and Mt. Hood Brewing Co. Rainbow Tavern (Maupin) in 2022, you can find our craft ales farther afield. Draft and packaged beers are also available in several local restaurants and shops.
