Trail Maps Find Your Way

Whether you're skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, or snowshoeing, our maps help you navigate the mountain and make the most of every adventure. Available online and at the lodge.

WINTER SKI & SNOWBOARD

THE LONGEST VERTICAL IN THE U.S.

Timberline boasts the longest vertical drop in the United States—an incredible 4,540 feet from the summit of Palmer Snowfield all the way down to Summit Pass in Government Camp. While the full vertical isn’t served by a single chairlift, skiers and riders access it via a combination of snowcat rides, chairlifts, and a resort shuttle—delivering a seamless experience from top to bottom on select days of the season.

SNOWSHOEING

WALKING IN A WINTER WONDERLAND

Snowshoeing is fun, easy, and there is no better place than Timberline to try it out. Our snowshoe trail is approximately 3/4 of a mile long and snowcat track-packed as needed. Snowshoe rentals are available in the Wy’East Day Lodge
