Service Mission
Our service mission is to create life-long memories. We do this by providing the best in historic lodging, fine dining and world-class skiing and snowboarding and backing these products with the finest in service and HOSPITALITY to every valued guest.
In this effort, we have teamed up with the State of Oregon’s Q-Care Hospitality Program. All applications with be accepted, but applicants who show their commitment to the highest service standard through PRE-CERTIFICATION in Oregon’s Q-Care Program will have their applications considered for employment first.

At Timberline, we have certain values and principles which guide our business. Among these principles are RESPECT for our guests, our environment, our history, and one another. Our role is that of STEWARDS of historic Timberline Lodge, and it is our commitment to protect the facility and maintain its “historic fabric” for future generations to enjoy.
Our Credo
“Proud To Be Your Host” It’s more than just a catchy phrase. We take great PRIDE in our role at Timberline. Following are some of the attributes we look for in our applicants.
Timberline Lodge is a National Historic Landmark, and unique in all the world. It was built for the people, and by the people as part of the W.P.A. during the Great Depression era. We understand our role as stewards and we strive to be gracious HOSTS to the more than 2 million people a year who visit us. This is what being a good host means to us.
